One of the strategies for the game of roulette is called the Martingale Strategy. This specific strategy is well known by the avid roulette player. This specific method might be an easy one, but not all times will it be a wise one for the player to try as some call it a very dangerous strategy.

This strategies arithmetic is a simple one. Each and every time the player loses, they need to double their next bet, and each time they win, their next bet will be equal to their first one.

All of the players bets will be on the even money bets: red, black, odd or even, high or low. The players first bet consist of one unit. If the player loses then the next bet will be two. If the player loses again then their third bet will be four units.

One of the deficiencies of using this method is that there is no limit to losing. If the player is on a bad winning streak, the outcome will not be a good one. The player can end up wagering huge amounts in hopes of retrieving back their initial loss.

On the contrary there is another method to this strategy which is called the anti martingale. With this particular one the player has to double their bet each time they win and after the player loses they should place a wager that is equal to the initial bet.
